Pat Markey

It was with sadness that 2023 saw the passing of Pat Markey. He was a long-time supporter of Trades Council and a tireless activist in his union, the NEU, and in the wider community. He will be greatly missed.

Following the sad passing of Pat Markey, NTUC held a memorial event for him.

This was a great success and all who attended agreed that it was a fitting tribute to a great activist and campaigner.
